Lets just close topics before anyone can answer them
. . . I mean really now if someone asks a dozen questions with one question at the end about builds, and the mod comes in and says -"this is not the builds forum - closed"
this is unprofessional and far from helpful to those seeking help. My 2cents Maybe the admins and mods should have a little meeting to straigten out this issue. Maybe try answering a question or two, or providing a link to the forum you want them in or - god forbid - MOVE A TOPIC - gasp- |

Thats the trouble with moderation, they think they're right because they have op's, happens on most forum boards, egos get inflated.

And this is going to be closed cause they don't like open discussion and prefer that you send complaints by PM....

OUCH, don't discuss moderation issues here, take it up with the admin.
I get a lot of posts deleted but i'm quite happy with the modding here for the most part. |

Maybe people should just take 10 seconds to post in the right damn forum. This whine thread, at best, should be in teh feedback section. So this will be closed as well.
You try and mod a forum with 2500+ users at any given time. Not keeping the sections properly sorted would result in a huge mess. Closing a thread, that has been covered dozens of times, is muchfaster and easier than moving the thread to the correct forum, then merging it with an existing one, and then dealing with crap from someone who can't find their oh so important and game breaking thread. |

well it will get easier since the trade/auction forum wont be needed once tradable inherent mods are introduced with nightfall.

As far as the thread in question goes, the only question in there is "I need a good PvE build that can play through Proph and Factions and still get in parties," and that's a stretch of a question at that. The rest of it is a long string of sentences that doesn't ask anything, and the main point of a Questions & Answers forum is for *gasp* questions and answers. It wouldn't even be a halfway decent thread in the Campfire, so moving a thread that would eventually be closed would be pointless.
Moderator actions aren't typically discussed in public as Effendi and mahojo said. Had you read the forum rules, more specifically the 15. Moderation Questions and Assistance, you would have seen that the best thing to do is "PM the moderator and talk to him or her about it." That's been the rule since this forum was started, and I don't expect it to be changed soon. Closed.
